Our company was formed in June 2012 by colleagues who shared a vision – they wanted to prove that you could run a successful business and still be ethical and treat people properly-and they had a love for property and a history in the surveying world.

So, in the middle of a recession, and despite all odds, Precedent Surveyors was born and the values of the business were established to reflect those of its founders:

  • Treating others as you would like to be treated.

We believe that our staff and clients are immensely important to the business and so we ensure that we treat both with respect as only with dedicated and motivated staff will we fulfil our commitments to our clients.

The team at Precedent Surveyors marry professionalism with a user-friendly approach  as we never lose sight of the fact that buying a property is one of the most stressful and costly things that most people will ever do and we want to help you get through the process with confidence.

In 2014 the company branched out into panel management and now offers a service to our professional clients across the country via our own surveyors and a network of trusted partners.

Although only just into our third year, in 2015 the company was Highly Commended in the Moneyfacts Awards. This commendation has spurred the whole business on and, whilst the original vision may have seemed a little ambitious; it seems to be working!

However, as a company we are always looking for ways to improve so any feedback from our clients is welcomed as we are only ever as good as our last survey!
